Spring 2026 UK Artificial Intelligence Literacy and Training Symposium

The University of Kentucky’s AI Literacy and Training (ALT) Hub will host the Spring 2026 UK Artificial Intelligence Literacy and Training Symposium on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, bringing together faculty, students, researchers and partners from across disciplines to explore how artificial intelligence is shaping research, education and applied practice.

The day‑long symposium will feature presentations from UK faculty and external experts, along with applied sessions designed to introduce AI concepts and tools to participants with a wide range of technical backgrounds. The event emphasizes both technical and real‑world applications of AI, fostering collaboration across colleges and disciplines while supporting AI literacy for the broader campus community.

In addition to research‑focused talks, the symposium will include non‑technical, immersive workshops and networking opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students interested in artificial intelligence and emerging technology pathways. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

The AI Symposium serves as a key milestone within the broader ALT Hub programming and training rollout, alongside spring in‑person trainings, webinars and follow‑on workshops supported by campus and external partners.
